Senior executives are reporting that the constant barrage of emails, texts and social media demands, alongside the continual barrage of decision-making, both micro and macro, is life-draining.

Even the apparent escape on holiday can prove to be a disappointment, knowing that the mobile or tablet still keeps you in contact with the daily flux of office life.

As several leaders of large US corporations are finding, guided silent retreats empowering. They enable you to stop DOING and allow you to rediscover what it means to BE. You find a calmness and serenity, a clarity of focus and renewed sense of Self.

Our retreats are organised in the UK and abroad and can last from 3-5 days. The silence is guided which means that there will be sessions that will be held with the retreat guide, as well as time for individual reflection, whether in one’s one space or walking in the retreat’s grounds or nearby countryside. As the silence lengthens so does one’s reconnection with self.

We can work with the whole team – group retreats are recognised as being invigorating and bonding at a significant deep level – or with individuals.

We work with the Retreats Association in the UK & Eire, using a variety of venues which up and down the country.

A more challenging retreat can be returning to the simpler ways of existence. Often several senior executives want to combine a retreat with an overseas community project, giving back to a local community such as in Africa or South America. For instance, our overseas programmes offers desert retreats, spending 3 nights under the stars, hosted by the Bedouin tribespeople, and then joining their camel caravan as it crosses the desert. A memorable and life-changing adventure.
