What is Mindfulness?

We often like to joke that Mindfulness is NOT about struggling to sit cross-legged on the floor and meditating.

What itis, however, is the recognised practice of exerting control on the mind and recognising how  you can harness the power of in-depth personal awareness to bring you benefits.

Mindfulness enables executives to achieve mental and emotional well-being, rediscover confidence and balance, and introduce a new skillset to help you, as a manager and leader, to survive and cope with the tough challenges ahead. It enhances your powers of cognitive reasoning. You will learn how to think, act and live mindfully and how to incorporate these simple tools and practices, not only into your daily life, but also into your professional environment.

In learning to create the right conditions for being Mindful, there comes a greater
acceptance and comprehension of the role of change in your life. In turn, you then accept how this knowledge can allow wise decision-making to flow through both your personal and professional environments. A return to this core inner wisdom puts you back in touch with the heart of your success.

By structuring a stronger mind, your actions have a purpose and a greater effectiveness. A Strong Mind equals Compassionate Decisions. It is a profound and deep experience.

Mindfulness means the awareness that emerges when we learn to pay attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally to things as they are.
